The next stop on my trip around Europe was Italy. Italy has a lot of cities and sights to visit but i started with rome and the colosseum. The colosseum was cool and i learned a lot about it that i didn't know like it was built in 80 AD. The colosseum could seat up to 50000 people, and it wasn't just used for fighting, they used it for re-enactments of famous battles and dramas based on classical mythology. The building stopped being used for entertainment in the early medieval era. It was reused as a fortress a quarry and a christian shrine. There, you learned something, your welcome. Not far from the colosseum is vatican city, which is where the pope lives. There wasn't much to see, and there was a dress code. I have to admit that that place confused me, i just don't understand how the pope got chosen and how he got his own city. I soon got bored with vatican and decided to go to Pisa, to see the leaning tower of Pisa. I think they should make people stand farther away from it because one day that tower will fall, and it would not end well, but thats just my opinion.![]()
